CUSTOMIZE
UI
Preferences > enable customize
Go to a brush palette and drag to desired area of the UI.
To move buttons around press Control + alt > click and
drag to desired area in the UI.
BRUSH PALETTE: Big icon pulls the brush palette (menu) and
small icons represent the brush itself.
To delete or get rid of buttons: control + alt > click
and drag button to the document.

Select brush > let it appear in brush palette
> click and drag holding control + alt.
If you want to locate anything inside the Zbrush interface
go to preferences> lightbox> lightbox.
Pimp out
the UI with colors:
Preferences > Icolors
Click on the buttons
and drag to the color palette on the left side of the UI to choose your color.
If you need to go back to the previous color click and drag back to the last
button with the color you want.
To turn off Customize UI go to preferences> custom UI and
click the custom UI button.
Create
your own HOTKEYS:
MAKE SURE CUSTOMIZE UI is off.
CONTROL + ALT > Hover over the desired button and press
the hotkey button you want that button to be.

To set the custom UI as the permanent interface
you need to store the UI.

Preferences > Config > Store UI
Saving the UI enables you to create a saved file of your UI
that you can take anywhere and use it in other computers.
CREATING
A CUSTOM MENU.
Turn on Custom UI
1.
Press “Create new UI” button> name it> press
enter and then look for the menu in the upper part of the UI (palette menus).
2.
Click and
drag menu to desired area in the UI.
3.
Holding control + alt click and drag the buttons
to your new menu.
4.
You can name your menus palettes after adding
items in it.
5.
To erase buttons control + alt and drag them to
the document space.
